A Ballerina Bakeshop & A Vintage Dancer's Dream . . .

On this gloomy, overcast day in Southern California, a little something 'pretty in pink' might be just the thing to lighten up the mood, and this gorgeous double dose of ballerina is the thing to do it!

We'll kick things off with a more modern version of girly with this stunning 'Ballerina Bakeshop' birthday by Icing Designs, and then ease right on into a vintage dream with a showstopper from The Homespun Hostess.  Your day ought to be sunny & bright in no time!

Ballerina Bakery Party

Now this is a custom built bakeshop stand made by the little girls' grandfather, but you could get a bit more simple with a pretty buffet or white desk; or even layer a standard folding table with a bit of height from boxes or books and cover it all with a white tablecloth . . .

How about that gorgeous fabric ruffle garland?  Don't worry...there's a tutorial on the way so you can make one of your very own . . .

And I just adore these gorgeous, pink eyelet bakery boxes  . . .

Absolutely amazing, right?  And moving right along, check out this different take on beautiful ballet inspiration with a step back in time, sure to stir up a few memories when you see some of the lovely details, designed by Sara of The Homespun Hostess and brought to us via The Party Wagon . . .

Vintage Ballerina Party

The birthday girl's mom made all of the decorations and her aunt did the desserts.  Now that is a talented family indeed . . .

Loving this hint of mint green . . .

And don't these cupcake toppers take you back in time . . .

Ahhh, milk glass....my absolute favorite!!

You just had to have one of these, right?
